Role: 2027 Co-op in Genome Engineering & Transgenic Model Development at Regeneron, focusing on developing gene-editing tools for cell lines, mouse models, and therapeutics. Responsibilities: contribute to proprietary gene-editing platform development, screen engineered proteins using fluorescence assays, apply computational structure prediction, assess DNA-nicking Cas9 variants, perform molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, western blotting), mammalian cell culture, work with viral vectors and flow cytometry, document experiments, and collaborate with the VelociGene team.
