2027 Chemistry, Materials & Life Sciences Interns

Role: Chemistry, Materials & Life Sciences Intern at Alcon's 2027 Summer Internship Program, supporting R&D projects in ophthalmic products. Responsibilities: conduct laboratory experiments on chemistry, materials, formulations, and analytical methods; support GMP pharmaceutical R&D activities such as clinical manufacturing processes and implantable drug-delivery products; collaborate across teams to advance ophthalmic research. Requirements: enrolled in a university/college for at least one semester before and after internship; pursuing a bachelor’s in chemistry, polymer/materials science, biology, biochemistry, microbiology, pharmaceutical science, or related field; minimum GPA 2.8/4.0; demonstrated leadership; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; able to commit to a 10–12 week, full-time internship.
