2027 Chemistry, Materials & Life Sciences Interns

Role: Chemistry, Materials & Life Sciences Intern supporting Alcon's ophthalmic R&D during summer 2027. Responsibilities: conduct laboratory experiments on chemistry research, materials characterization, formulation development; design and synthesize polymers for contact-lens materials; develop analytical methods; process tissue samples and support GMP pharmaceutical activities. Requirements: enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's in chemistry, materials science, biology, or related field; minimum GPA 2.8/4.0; demonstrated leadership; authorized to work in the U.S.; able to commit to a 10-12 week full-time summer internship.
