Role Summary
2026 Summer Internship Program: US Medical Affairs Oncology Strategy and Analytics Intern
Responsibilities
- Insights Integration: – Aggregate and analyze data from multiple channels (MSL, advisory boards, social media, sentiment, HCP belief scores).
- Trend Identification: – Detect patterns, signals, and opportunities across therapeutic areas and the competitive landscape.
- Strategic Enablement: – Translate data into insights that guide evidence generation, medical priorities, and engagement planning.
- Operational Excellence: – Enhance dashboards by adding interpretive layers and highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Comprehensive Benchmarking: – Propose meaningful metrics that emphasize outcomes at the patient level, including practice change and guideline adoption.
Qualifications
- This position will be hybrid role out of the Cambridge, MA location.
- Currently pursuing a graduate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, MBA, Data Science, or related field).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, visualization, or advanced statistics.
- Interest in oncology, medical affairs, or data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex findings into clear narratives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or programming (R, Python) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
Education
- Currently enrolled in a degree program; preferred fields include PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, MBA, Data Science, or related.
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
- The internship program is 10-12 weeks with start dates May 26–August 14 or June 15–August 21
- Able to work full time 40 hours per week during internship dates
