Role Summary

2026 Summer Internship Program: US Medical Affairs Oncology Strategy and Analytics Intern

Responsibilities

  • Insights Integration: β€šΓ„Γ¬ Aggregate and analyze data from multiple channels (MSL, advisory boards, social media, sentiment, HCP belief scores).
  • Trend Identification: β€šΓ„Γ¬ Detect patterns, signals, and opportunities across therapeutic areas and the competitive landscape.
  • Strategic Enablement: β€šΓ„Γ¬ Translate data into insights that guide evidence generation, medical priorities, and engagement planning.
  • Operational Excellence: β€šΓ„Γ¬ Enhance dashboards by adding interpretive layers and highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Comprehensive Benchmarking: β€šΓ„Γ¬ Propose meaningful metrics that emphasize outcomes at the patient level, including practice change and guideline adoption.

Qualifications

  • This position will be hybrid role out of the Cambridge, MA location.
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, MBA, Data Science, or related field).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, visualization, or advanced statistics.
  • Interest in oncology, medical affairs, or data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex findings into clear narratives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or programming (R, Python) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Education

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program; preferred fields include PharmD, PhD, MD, MPH, MBA, Data Science, or related.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks with start dates May 26β€šΓ„Γ¬August 14 or June 15β€šΓ„Γ¬August 21
  • Able to work full time 40 hours per week during internship dates
