Role Summary

2026 Summer Intern PhD Student - Chemical Process Development at Bristol Myers Squibb. Summer interns work on a guided research project within a CPD Project Team for ~10 weeks, gaining industry and functional experience and exposure to senior leaders. The program runs from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026 in New Brunswick, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in a guided research project within a CPD Project Team under a mentor.
  • Participate in orientation and introductions to company structure, products, and brands.
  • Collaborate with the GPS and PD organizations.
  • Present a formal presentation at the end of the internship.
  • Receive mentorship and undergo formal review/feedback sessions.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university program pursuing a PhD degree in Chemistry.
  • Expected to graduate between Fall 2026 and end of 2027.
  • Must include GPA on resume; program requires GPA of 3.0 or greater.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to work in a team environment.
  • Authorized to work in the US for the duration of employment; no visa sponsorship available.
