Role Summary

2026 Specialty Care Commercial MBA Summer Associate role based in Cambridge, MA for a 10-week program (June–August). The program provides exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative environment in Specialty Care with opportunities to work on brand strategy, market research, pricing, and market access in US or Global contexts, supporting leadership development through cross-unit rotations and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support development of brand strategy
  • Analyze and recommend customer segmentation; develop or optimize brand messaging; develop a creative campaign
  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence projects
  • Support analytical projects for promoted brands, new products for future launches, and business development projects
  • Provide deep assessment of big data landscape relevant to rare diseases
  • Support Global Pricing & Reimbursement activities for a therapeutic area or brand
  • Ranging from P&R global analyses to future launch prep and review of summer pricing updates
  • Work with Value and Access leads on strategic activities for upcoming launch products
  • Research market access and pricing potential for BD business development
  • Complete disease overview for internal R&D candidates or conduct commercial assessment for BD or M&A opportunities

Qualifications

  • Required: Currently enrolled in an MBA program with expected degree completion by Spring 2027; must have completed first year of MBA prior to program start
  • Required: Two years of prior work experience in a relevant industry (pharmaceutical/biotech, finance, marketing, sales, healthcare consulting, investment banking, etc.)
  • Required: Able to relocate to the office and work 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, for the full duration
  • Required: Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship at application or in the future
  • Preferred: Demonstrated leadership experience, strong communication, collaboration across boundaries, analytical skills, and a patient-focused mindset
