Role Summary
Engineering intern in Product & Process Development, supporting ideation, design and development of medical devices in the field of Regenerative Medicine. The role involves working closely with engineers on a variety of tasks within R&D projects during the internship program. The experience combines hands-on prototyping, testing, data analysis and documentation in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment.
Responsibilities
- Work under direct supervision of an assignment manager on tasks that will support R&D projects in the regenerative medicine pipeline
- Support physical testing of prototypes and sample materials, data analysis, and documentation/presentation generation
- Support the fabrication and processing of prototypes in the R&D process lab under direct guidance from experienced team members
- Organize data in shared collaboration spaces
- Communicate with team members in brainstorming and problem solving
Qualifications
- Required: Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Bioengineering or other related field
- Required: Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
- Required: Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027
- Preferred: Exposure to undergraduate engineering courses
- Preferred: Exposure to working in undergraduate engineering and science laboratory setting
- Preferred: Exposure to Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
