      Role Summary
 2026 Mechanical Reliability Co-Op (Jan - Jun) at AbbVie Bioresearch Center in Worcester, MA. Engage with energetic colleagues and leaders to gain world-class experience in a dynamic pharmaceutical environment; contribute to facility reliability and maintenance initiatives while developing engineering skills.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to direct the strategy and execution of facility systems, predictive and preventive maintenance.
 
 - Support the development, execution, and maintenance of the site asset reliability program and associated projects.
 
 - Support reliability and engineering tools such as Life-Cycle costing, Pareto analysis, and Root Cause Failure Analysis.
 
 - Apply predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., ultrasound and vibration analysis) to identify potential equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
 
 - Support the site reliability program including asset criticality, maintenance strategy, and critical spare parts.
 
 - Collaborate with maintenance and inventory personnel on asset critical spare parts strategy and continuous improvement efforts.
 
 - Work closely with Project Engineering, Controls Engineering, Site Operations, and Maintenance; interface with site engineering management regarding the status of the Reliability program.
 
 - Support Asset Maintenance Plan to ensure adequate levels of sustaining effective maintenance job plans and critical spare parts for each plant asset.
 
 - Provide support to the Reliability Engineer as needed.
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Minimum Qualifications
 
 - Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, or related field.
 
 - Must be enrolled for at least one semester following the co-op.
 
 - Expected graduation date between December 2026 βΓΓ¬ June 2027.
 
 - Commitment to a 6-month program at AbbVie Bioresearch Center (ABC) in Worcester, MA (January - June).

 - BachelorβΓΓ΄s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, Industrial engineering, or related field (pursuing).
