Role Summary

2026 Intern: Research and Development Analytical Scientist (12 weeks, June 2026 start) at Haleon in the R&D Product Chemistry group, focusing on developing and applying chemistry methodologies to understand antioxidant capability and product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with a team in developing and improving methodologies for antioxidant capability understanding
  • Preparing samples for analysis, operating measurement equipment, interpreting data
  • Perform data analysis and gain insights into the meaning of data
  • Learn various laboratory software and instrumentations (e.g., Empower, ELN, HPLC, spectrophotometer, electrochemical workstation)
  • Contribute to a meaningful project and present data and findings

Qualifications

  • Required: Enrolled full time in an accredited technical (chemistry based) college program; currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program
  • Required: Must be eligible to work in the US for the duration of employment; applicant must not require future sponsorship
  • Required: Able to work on-site full-time (40 hours/week) Mondayโ€šร„รฌFriday 8amโ€šร„รฌ5pm for 12 weeks
  • Preferred: Overall GPA above 3.0
  • Required/Preferred: Understanding of General Chemistry Principles; adaptability and resilience in ambiguity; desire to learn and have meaningful impact
