      Role Summary
 2026 Intern: R&D Preformulation (12 weeks, June 2026 start) at Haleon. Engage in R&D Product Chemistry, applying fundamental chemistry knowledge to characterize solid-state and semi-solid material systems in formulations. Contribute to next-generation improvements and product performance through hands-on experimentation and data analysis.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 - Engage with a team of Scientists in performing and/or developing new characterization methodologies for solid-state, as well as semi-solid based, material systems of our formulations at various stages of the R&D pipeline
 
 - Prepare samples for analysis using techniques including x-ray diffraction, spectroscopy, thermal analysis and electron microscopy
 
 - Set-up custom reactors using lab glassware for bench-top modelling with analysis of outcomes as needed
 
 - Perform data analysis and gain meaningful insights
 
 - Make a major contribution to a project and demonstrate your potential with oral presentation
 
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 - Education required:
 
 - Enrolled full time in an accredited technical (science based) college program
 
 - Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program
 
 
  
 - Other requirements:
 
 - Must be eligible to work in the US at the time of, and for the duration of employment. Evidence of US work authorization; no future sponsorship required for employment visa status
 
 - On-site full-time work (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm for 12 weeks
 
 - Overall GPA above 3.0 is preferred
