Role: Participate in a co-op research program focused on molecular modeling and cheminformatics within drug discovery. Objectives: employ data, models, and methods to support hypothesis-driven research across various stages of drug development. Responsibilities: conduct independent or team-based projects involving chemical data analysis, molecular docking, molecular dynamics, protein and small molecule design, quantum calculations, and machine learning applications. Requirements: pursuing BS/BA or Master’s/Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics; at least two years of undergraduate or one year of graduate study completed; strong academic record; enrolled in ongoing education; availability for 4-6 months full-time in 2027. Preferred: interest in modeling/informatics methods, programming skills, GPA ≥ 3.0.
