Role: Research intern/co-op in drug discovery, focusing on molecular modeling and cheminformatics within a pharmaceutical R&D setting. Objectives: employ data-driven methods to support hypothesis-driven drug discovery projects across multiple therapeutic areas. Responsibilities: participate in independent or team-based research utilizing cheminformatics (e.g., chemical data analysis, reaction modeling) and molecular modeling techniques (docking, dynamics, protein/ligand design, quantum calculations, machine learning); learn to integrate data, models, and methods relevant to drug development. Requirements: pursuing BS/BA or Master’s/PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biophysics, informatics, computer science, or applied mathematics with at least two years of study for BS/BA or one year for graduate candidates; strong academic record (GPA ≥ 3.0); availability for full-time 4-6 month internship in 2027; current enrollment and continuation in education post-internship. Preferred: interest in modeling/informatics for drug discovery, programming skills. HighValue: early-stage research, molecular modeling, cheminformatics, drug discovery, multiple U.S. locations, internship (intern/coop, fixed term), no travel or relocation required.
