This co-op (Future Talent Program) provides up to 6 months of Cooperative (Co-op) education with one or more projects in Manufacturing Division.
Responsibilities (may include):
- Provide global technical support for vaccine and biologics manufacturing.
- Collaborate with scientists/engineers on late-stage process development, commercialization, tech transfer/expansion, and commercial manufacturing support.
- Apply safety-first and quality-always mindset; support continuous improvement.
- Design and execute process development/characterization studies; author protocols (DoE, sample size, acceptance criteria).
- Manage sample submission/tracking; analyze results with statistical tools.
- Author technical reports for regulatory filings; present study outcomes.
- Support product transfers and knowledge management across internal/external manufacturing networks.
- Support computational modeling; author/update technical and manufacturing documents (investigations, process design, change control, validation).
- Contribute to investigations, validation activities, and process improvement projects using MPS and lean/six sigma.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate verbally and in writing; consult on complex decisions as needed.
Required education/experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, science, or related fields; no prior experience required.
- Excellent academic record/work achievement (superior technical competency).
- Strong communication, personal character, and ethics.
Preferred skills/experience:
- Computer programming and/or data science/data analytics.
- Ability to work independently and in teams; problem-solving, collaboration, project management.
- Previous process development/research/manufacturing experience (plus).
- Strong technical competency and desire to innovate.
Compensation:
- Salary range: $39,600.00–$105,500.00 USD.
