Role Summary
The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is a 30-month program designed to prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the accounting and finance organization. Participants will develop leadership and technical skills through rotational assignments at J&J business units, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching and feedback. The program includes two formal rotations (approximately 18 months then 12 months) across different areas of finance/accounting at various J&J locations to accelerate skill building.
Responsibilities
- Complete two formal rotations spanning different finance/accounting areas across J&J locations.
- Participate in approximately 5 weeks of trainings over the 30-month program to build business acumen and core competencies (problem-solving, analysis, technical skills, business knowledge, teamwork, leadership).
- Engage in rotational assignments designed to expose participants to J&J MedTech and Innovative Medicine business segments and Corporate Headquarters.
- Pursue professional certifications (CMA and/or CPA) encouraged by the program and finance community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or fifth-year master’s degree (received between December 2025 and June 2026) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a business-related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Demonstrated leadership experience; intermediate knowledge of MS Excel is preferred.
- Authorization to work in the US on a permanent, full-time basis.
- Ability to temporarily relocate to a different state within the United States for a rotational assignment.
