Role Summary

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is an approximate 30-month program designed specifically to prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the accounting & finance organization. Participants will develop critical leadership & technical skills through rotational assignments at J&J business units, in-depth training, & ongoing coaching and feedback.

Responsibilities

  • Complete two formal rotations: the first is approximately 18 months followed by a 12-month second rotation across different areas of finance/accounting and J&J locations and business units.
  • Engage in 5 weeks of trainings over the program, building business acumen and developing competencies such as problem-solving, analysis, technical skills, business knowledge, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Participate in rotational assignments designed to expose participants to J&J MedTech & Innovative Medicine segments and Corporate Headquarters, driving value and change.
  • Collaborate across finance functions including Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, R&D Finance, General Accounting, Corporate Consolidations, Treasury, Global Audit & Assurance, and Digital Finance Innovation.
  • Pursue professional certifications (CMA and/or CPA) encouraged within the finance community.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€šร„รดs or Fifth year masterโ€šร„รดs degree (received between December 2025 and June 2026) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related business field is required.
  • GPA of 3.0 or better required.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience required; intermediate MS Excel knowledge preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the US on a permanent, full-time basis required.
  • Ability to temporarily relocate to a different state within the US for a rotational assignment required.
