Role Summary

The Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) is an approximate 30-month program designed to prepare and develop future generations of business leaders within the accounting and finance organization. Participants will develop critical leadership and technical skills through rotational assignments at J&J business units, in-depth training, and ongoing coaching and feedback. FLDP participants complete two formal rotations: the first is approximately 18 months followed by a 12-month second rotation. The two rotations span different areas of finance/accounting across J&J locations and business units to accelerate participant skill building through differentiated experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in two formal rotations across finance/accounting functions and locations
  • Engage in 5 weeks of trainings over the program to build business acumen and key competencies
  • Develop leadership, problem-solving, analytical, technical, and teamwork skills through assignments and feedback
  • Contribute to various functional assignments within Finance (e.g., Financial Planning and Analysis, Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, R&D Finance, General Accounting, Corporate Consolidations, Treasury, Global Audit & Assurance, Digital Finance Innovation)
  • Utilize rotations to build an expanded professional network and prepare for future roles across J&J segments
  • Seek opportunities for professional certification (CMA and/or CPA) with support from the program

Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€šร„รดs or fifth-year masterโ€šร„รดs degree (received between December 2025 and June 2026) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related business field
  • GPA of 3.0 or better
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel preferred
  • Authorization to work in the US on a permanent, full-time basis
  • Ability to temporarily relocate to a different state within the US for a rotational assignment
