Role Summary

Co-op opportunity in Norwood, MA from January 20, 2026 – June 26, 2025. Start date January 20, 2026. Focused on driving continuous improvement within the Operational Excellence (OpEx) team to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality and service levels across supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of OpEx initiatives within supply chain and product value streams.
  • Conduct value stream mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Participate in or lead workshops or kaizens to deliver rapid improvement in key process areas.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, focusing on KPIs such as cost savings, lead time reduction, quality improvements, and process standardization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality) to drive data-driven process improvements.
  • Participate in root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Support change management and deployment of new tools and processes in the supply chain.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for project status and findings; present results to key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum: Current student in Bachelors or Masters program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel or other data analysis tools.
  • Must hold US work authorization without future sponsorship; no immigration sponsorship available.
  • Site-based; not eligible for remote work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent.
  • Knowledge or experience in lean six sigma, DMAIC, process improvement, or supply chain optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
  • Ability to gather and combine data from multiple sources to derive insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to contribute to a high-growth, transformational company.
