Role Summary

Operational Excellence Engineering Co-Op at Haleon, focused on executing Continuous Improvement Plans for the Site to achieve growth and profitability objectives. Based at the Haleon manufacturing site in downtown St. Louis, MO, reporting to the Site Operational Excellence Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of Fit for Growth (F4G) projects, assisting with data gathering, documentation, and coordination across teams.
  • Help track and report on the siteβ€šΓ„Γ΄s waste reduction program, identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing findings with the OPEX team.
  • Maintain and update HAPS tools to ensure accurate and consistent usage across departments, and assist with troubleshooting basic user issues.
  • Provide peer-level training and support on the HAPS system, helping new users understand how to navigate and apply the tool in daily tasks.
  • Assist in deploying digital systems like Solvace for collecting OEE loss data and improving Tier Meeting workflows, including setup and basic configuration.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a BS degree in Engineering
  • Good computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Active student status for the duration of the Co-Op
  • Eligible to work in the US for the duration of employment; must provide evidence of US work authorization
  • Eligible to work onsite on a full-time basis during the internship (40 hours/week) and provide own funding for relocation and commuting

Preferred Qualifications

  • OPEX Knowledge β€šΓ„Γ¬ Lean/Six Sigma concepts
