The Role This is a co-op opportunity in Norwood, MA from July 13th-December 11th, 2026. Applicants must be available for the entire duration of the internship. Start date will be July 13th. This co-op supports the Sr. Manager, Inventory Control by improving controlled documentation in Moderna’s eQMS and strengthening data visibility for inventory control performance. You will help identify gaps, clarify procedures, drive timely revisions, and develop clear reporting that supports compliant execution. Here’s What You’ll Do Support controlled document revisions in eQMS: draft edits, route for review/approval, track status, and maintain revision logs. Review SOPs and work instructions for clarity, usability, and alignment to current operations; highlight issues and propose improvements. Support lifecycle review and targeted updates to SOP-0056 (Inventory Management), with emphasis on cycle count execution and associated work instructions. Review and improve work instructions for material movements to and from external warehouses, focusing on end-to-end flow, handoffs, and traceability. Support updates to SOP-0664 (Material Destruction), aligning changes to recent workshops and enabling immediate operational impact. Extract, review, and analyze SAP data related to cycle counts, scrap/destruction metrics, and material movements (site-to-site and external warehouses). Create and maintain Tableau (or similar) dashboards to present key inventory control trends, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare concise progress updates and readouts for the Sr. Manager, Inventory Control and cross-functional partners (Operations, Quality, Materials Management). Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications) Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, Quality, or related field). Strong technical writing/editing skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Work authorization in the United States; Moderna is unable to offer immigration sponsorship for this role. This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time. Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) GPA of 3.5 on a 4 scale or equivalent Demonstrated ability to work both independently as well as the ability to contribute to high performing teams. Experience with system reporting, data analysis, and basic data manipulation (Excel, Power Query, etc.). Experience building dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools. Interest in warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and material lifecycle management. Familiarity with eQMS tools or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
