Role Summary
2026 Business Technology Solutions Extern
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience in a variety of key business areas within AbbVie’s headquarters environment.
- Build an extended network of AbbVie representatives, senior leaders, and students from across the country.
- Participate in cross-functional professional development opportunities.
- Learn more about AbbVie’s career opportunities and be considered for an internship for the following summer.
- Engage with AbbVie’s Business Technology Solutions focus areas, including Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Automation Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between Dec 2027 - June 2028.
- Majoring in or strong interest in pursuing opportunities in Computer Science, Data Science (AI/ML), Automation, or Computer Engineering.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates combine technical and business knowledge with analytical strength and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Previous internship or related experience.
- Proven teamwork, adaptability, innovation, initiative, and integrity.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher preferred.
