Role Summary
Summer internship in Analytical R&D focused on mRNA-LNP characterization, collaborating with the Analytical R&D, Molecular Profiling & Drug Delivery and Genetic Medicine Discovery groups to drive innovation in analytical sciences. The role involves method development and evaluation of a multi-attribute instrument to augment current methodologies for safe and efficacious LNP delivery. The intern will contribute to evaluation, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to advance LNP characterization capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop methods such as DLS, MALS, Encapsulation, and HPLC to support the optimal LNP formulation.
- Evaluate the capabilities of a multi-attribute (MA) instrument to integrate with current analytical methodologies.
- Author SOPs and update them periodically at cross-functional meetings.
Qualifications
- Required: Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a PhD in analytical chemistry or other related fields.
- Required: Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship.
- Preferred: Expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience in basic analytical methods to characterize LNP.
- Preferred: Experience working with DLS, MALS, Encapsulation, HPLC.
