1st Shift Phlebotomist

Role: Phlebotomist providing blood collection and specimen processing at Ascension St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI. Responsibilities: perform venipuncture and capillary draws across all ages, handle specimens for various tests, ensure accurate data entry and specimen preparation, maintain logs, deliver excellent patient service, and perform administrative tasks. Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent; preferred certification or 6+ months experience as a phlebotomist, or completion of an accredited training program. High-value: direct patient interaction, specimen collection, data management, and specimen processing; flexibility to travel to additional sites; working within standard laboratory and healthcare compliance (e.g., GxP, safety). Work setup: scheduled Monday-Friday with every other weekend and holiday; overtime flexibility; travel as needed.
